Lindsay Lohan’s Alleged Assailant Is Released

Lindsay Lohan, 26, was alleged assaulted by a man in her hotel room on Saturday night. Lohan and friends invited a man up to their hotel room after meeting him at 1 Oak nightclub in NYC.

The two alleged got into a scuffle after the man took photos of Lohan. According to Lohan, she confronted the man about the photos and grabbed his cell phone. She was either grabbed or thrown.

“Lindsay was assaulted early this morning in a New York hotel,” said her publicist Steve Honig. “While she did sustain some injuries, she was not hospitalized. The assailant was arrested and is currently in police custody. Lindsay has spoken with police and is fully cooperating with the investigation.”

Some reports say that Lohan was thrown to the ground and choked, while others say that she was thrown on to the bed and sustained scratches. The man has been identified as 25-year-old Christian LaBella, who works as a part-time congressional aide. Police say that at one point, Lohan ran down a flight of stairs while being pursued by LaBella. Lohan pulled the hotel fire alarm, which brought authorities to the scene of the crime.

LaBella was initially charged with two misdemeanor counts of third-degreeĀ assaultĀ and two counts of harrassment. These charges have been dropped, and he has been released. Police say that Lohan’s case was weakened because she took LaBella’s cell phone and she also refused medical attention.
