Adele’s “Skyfall” Bond Theme Released in Full (LISTEN!)
We’ve figured out what’s missing in our lives: new Adele music. Now that we’ve finally composed ourselves after crying Emma-Stone-on-SNL-style to “Someone Like You,” it’s the perfect time to listen to “Skyfall,” Adele’s new song for the upcoming James Bond film.
According to NBC News, Adele wrote the song with Paul Epsworth after the reading the script for the Sam Mendes-directed Bond film (also called “Skyfall”), which will be released in the US on November 9th.
“I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for ‘Skyfall,’” Adele dished. “There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no-brainer to do it in the end.”
A French radio station leaked the entire song online – and soon after, Adele posted an official version to her own YouTube channel. Take a listen:

They recorded the song with a 77-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London, an experience Adele called “one of the proudest moments of my life.” She added: “I’ll be back combing my hair when I’m 60 telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day, I’m sure!”
Adele, 24, announced in June that she is pregnant – so she’s bound to have another proud moment soon!
