Jennifer Livingston’s ‘Bully’ Apologizes, Kinda (VIDEO)

When Kenneth Krause sent an email to news anchor Jennifer Livingston, he had no idea that her response would go viral.

Krause advised Livingston to lose weight since her current size wasn’t “a suitable example for this community’s young people, girls in particular.” Livingston responded to his harsh criticisms and garnered the support of many media outlets.

ABC News caught up with Krause who apologized for his comments: “If she is offended, I truly apologize to Jennifer. That’s the last thing I ever wanted to do.”

He said he can empathize with the news anchor because he’s been fighting obesity all his life. “It’s possible I would revise a few things,” adds Krause. “I never meant to hurt Jennifer. If she is truly hurt, I do apologize for that.”

However, Krause holds to his position that Livingston should try and lose the weight. “Given this country’s present epidemic of obesity and the many truly horrible diseases related thereto, and considering Jennifer Livingston’s fortuitous position in the community, I hope she will finally take advantage of a rare and golden opportunity … by transforming herself for all of her viewers to see over the next year.”

Livingston has revealed that she has a thyroid condition which impairs weight loss. Krause, who is a security guard by trade, says he was “obese as a child” and would be “absolutely pleased” to advise or support Jennifer if “she would be willing to accept.”

No word if Livingston will take him up on this offer. What do you think? Was Krause in the wrong? Or was his email blown out of proportion?
