Bam Margera Held a Gun to a Puppy’s Head (PHOTO)

In an ill-conceived attempt at humor, Bam Margera recently tweeted a picture of him holding a gun to a puppy’s head. In the admittedly shocking picture, Bam holds the tiny pit bull and the gun, while a disembodied hand holds a sign that says “If she poop’s[sic] one more time she goes bye bye’s”.
People were offended, as people are wont to do, and immediately unleashed a torrent of outrage upon the Jackass star.
Come on, you guys. Let’s take off our moral outrage hats and be reasonable for a minute here. Holding a gun to a dog’s head is, in my opinion, not really funny. Neither is holding a gun to a human’s head, which Bam also posted pictures of himself doing (interestingly, no outrage there).
But Bam Margera once filled a limousine with bees while his friends were inside it. Being an unfunny jerk and a prankster is kind of his shtick. Can’t we all just roll our eyes and move on?
In any case, Bam has since apologized in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer, saying that “I think [animal abusers] need to go down. Just hurting another animal is rude, crude, and more.”
He also stressed the fact that the gun was (clearly) not real – in fact, he doesn’t even own a gun.
