Real Housewives’ Michaele Salahi Engaged to Neal Schon from Journey
Michaele Salahi, best known for the White House party-crashing incident chronicled on The Real Housewives of DC , is engaged to Journey guitarist Neal Schon. According to The Baltimore Sun, the 58 year-old musician proposed at a Paul Reed Smith Guitars benefit for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
He got down on one knee on stage, surprising 48 year-old Michaele Salahi, who said yes. After, she and Neal both cried and kissed. “This is like a lifetime dream,” Michaele said earlier this month of her relationship with Neal. “It’s a really real thing.”
Michaele was previously married to Tareq Salahi, the man who accompanied her to the White House and appeared on Real Housewives. In September 2011, Tareq reported her missing – but it turns out she was just hanging out with Neal, whom she met in the ’90s and had remained friends with. Apparently, Neal even sent Tareq an email with a photo of his penis attached, since that’s the classy and mature thing to do when you’re hanging out with someone’s wife. Michaele’s divorce from Tareq was finalized this year, after much legal fighting.
Who knew that Michaele’s life would be infinitely more interesting post-Real Housewives? Don’t stop believing, kids.
