Tom Hanks Accidentally Drops the F-Bomb on Live TV (VIDEO)

Why is he so adorable? The answer may be his potty mouth. (Photo credit: Fred Lee/ABC, Via: nydailynews.com)

The nicest guy in Hollywood, Tom Hanks, accidentally dropped the F-bomb on Good Morning America. You may know Tom Hanks from his beloved role as Forrest Gump, or as a bearded castaway, or that guy that pretended to get drunk with you, and then let you take photos of him.

Tom was on GMA promoting his newest flick Cloud Atlas when he was asked to imitate one of the characters from his sci-fi movie. “Mostly, it’s swear words,” warned Hanks. He really got into character, dropping the F-bomb to the chagrin of ABC.

Needless to say, The Hanks/Hankman/Hankster was shocked and embarrassed  (I’m hoping all of the those nicknames stick, but I’d be happy with Hankster.)

“I’m so sorry,” said Hanks. “I slipped into a brand of acting. I have never done that before. I want to apologize to the kids in America that are watching this right now. And let me say, next time I’m on the show there will be a seven-second delay!”

How could we possible stay mad at him?! He’s the Hankster, for f****’s sake.
