Looking good is the best revenge, right? Jessica Simpson – whose physique has been under the media microscope since giving birth to her baby daughter Maxwell in May – has posted on her website a photo of her in a sexy Halloween costume – and she looks fantast!!

“Happy Halloween!!!” wrote the 32 year-old WeightWatchers spokeswoman, who dressed up in a tight, low-cut brown leather corset, short lacy skirt and over-the-knee boots as some kind of medieval Viking wench (?) alongside hubby Eric Johnson, who donned a plaid tunic and big hair. Maxwell was absolutely adorable as a puffy little chick.

In September, Jessica told Katie Couric, “I want to be as healthy as I can because I’m a mom now,” but admits she struggles with cravings. “I feel like what made me eat more is my hormones and breastfeeding,” she said. “I’ve never wanted chocolate more in my life. I’ve had to really stay focused and focus on my diet and concentrate on what I’m putting in my body.”

Whatever she’s doing, it’s working! Plus, the costume is awesome – and the red lipstick looks amazing with her blonde hair. Kudos to Jessica for keeping positive amid so much criticism.
