Did Kate Middleton Accidentally Reveal the Sex of Her Baby?

Kate Middleton might’ve let it slip that she’s having a baby girl.
Apparently, the Duchess of Cambridge let the cat out of the bag during a public appearance on Tuesday. Kate was visiting a fishing center in Grimsby, when a well-wisher handed her a teddy bear.
“Thank you, I will take that for my d–,” Kate said before abruptly stopping mid-sentence. Cameras caught the slip-up, according to The Daily Mail.
A curious crowd member heard the remark and asked if Kate and William were expecting a girl.
“No, we don’t know!” she reportedly replied.
It’s apparently a faux pas to reveal the sex of royal babies.
“Precedent dictates that the sex of royal babies is never announced in advance,” writes Gordon Rayner, a reporter for The Telegraph.
So even if Kate and Will do know the sex of their baby – mum’s the word.
According to the new succession laws, Kate and Will’s baby will be next in line for the throne – no matter the baby’s sex.
So, is it a girl? We’ll have to wait until July to find out.
