Jennifer Lawrence Was Bullied in School
We know Jennifer Lawrence as a cool person and an awesome actress. But even with all her magnificence, J-Law says she wasn’t immune to bullying.
Jennifer says that as a kid, she had to take drastic measures because of the antics of mean girls.
“I changed schools a lot when I was in elementary school because some girls were mean,” Jennifer tells The Sun.
“They were less mean in middle school, because I was doing all right, although this one girl gave me invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn’t invited to.
“But that was fine, I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can.”
All that immature bullying is behind her, and we now her know as a down-to-earth, say-anything Oscar winner who loves carbs but still looks amazing in haute couture gowns. And let’s face it — we all secretly wish she was our best friend. Someone who jokingly gives the finger to the cameras while donning a Dior gown is a lady we could hang out with. Preferably, we’d be eating chicken wings and a party-sized pizza.
But in all seriousness, what advice does Jennifer have for victims of bullying?
“Don’t worry about the bitches — that could be a good motto, because you come across people like that throughout your life,” she advises.
Pan to an image of Jennifer twirling around with her Oscar and then somersaulting into a handstand because in our imagination she’s wicked in gymnastics. And we’re sure that while she’s busy raking in the cheddar and hobnobbing with the likes of Jack Nicholson and other Hollywood elites, she isn’t giving those haters a second thought. Because – hello – she’s Jennifer freaking Lawrence.
