In the last few months, almost every woman in my circle of friends (I’m including Internet friends) has decided to reproduce and my Twitter stream is filled with new parents posting hospital pics of their newborn spawn. My BFF’s incubating child already has its own Twitter account, and no, I’m not kidding.

I never thought I would love our PS3 as much as our Wii, but over the last few months (it was a Christmas present to ourselves) it has won me over completely. Choosing the right shade of foundation can be a daunting and time consuming activity but I’m sorry Ladies, it is an activity that must be done correctly.

I’m more of a cat person, so on a recent trip to PetCo with a dog owner friend I was taken aback at the vast amount of fancy dog shampoo overloading the shelf. And then I came across PetHead by TIGI. At first I thought it was hilarious to think that a dog could have better grooming products than I do, but considering that it wasn’t the most expensive shampoo available, I changed my mind. Just a bit.

My husband is one of those men who thinks Valentine’s Day is nothing but a huge corporate, money making scheme specifically designed to make men feel obligated to by gifts to show their love…blah, blah, blah. After years of struggling and many flowerless Valentine’s Days, he seems to finally get it. He realized that it isn’t that I need fancy gifts to know that he loves me but simply that I love getting presents and felt left out every year.

I hate it when I see the most carefully made up face only to have it ruined by a bad foundation choice. Nothing is more distracting to me than a telltale line along the neck and jaw. I’ve had to physically restrain myself from trying to touch some stranger’s face in an attempt to try and wipe it away.

I don’t normally use Herbal Essences, but I used to when I was a teen. So when I saw that it was on sale at my local store for $2.50 a bottle, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try one of the newest “flavors.”

A few people have been asking me about eyelash extensions and how they work so I figured that many of you are wondering about them as well. I had a full set of eyelash extensions applied about a year ago when a colleague of mine asked if I wanted a full set for free. I jumped at the chance.

I truly believe that there is a shade of red lipstick out there for every woman. It just may take a few tries (or several hundred, perhaps) to find it.

Putting the crazy fashion aside, all of the ladies who attended put their best faces forward, but by far my favorite look of the evening was the queen of the Grammys herself Taylor Swift.

As the wife of a video game addict, I am talked into playing a lot of games with the husband that I really don’t find all that interesting.
